Cancellation Policy

DAILY PERSONAL CHEF SERVICE POLICY Southern Bells Personal & Private Chef Service LLC provides personalized, chef-prepared meals designed around your household’s lifestyle, preferences, schedule, and dietary needs. Booking & Payment Full payment is required online at the time of booking to reserve your service. Customized Meals Menus are customized for each household and may include breakfast, lunch, snacks, one entrée with sides, and other agreed-upon meal components. Reasonable substitutions may be made when necessary. Food & Grocery Costs Food and grocery costs are separate from the chef service fee. Clients are responsible for the actual cost of food and groceries purchased for their service. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions Clients must disclose all allergies, dietary restrictions, and food sensitivities before service. Southern Bells takes reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Kitchen Requirements Clients must provide a clean, safe, and functional kitchen with reasonable access to the appliances, refrigeration, equipment, and workspace needed for service. Pets & Animals Pets and other animals must be kept away from food-preparation and cooking areas while the chef is working. Food Storage Southern Bells prepares food using reasonable food-safety practices. Once food is left with the client, the client is responsible for proper storage, refrigeration, reheating, and subsequent handling. Kitchen Cleanup Normal kitchen cleanup associated with the service is included. Deep cleaning or cleanup unrelated to the service may require an additional fee. Cancellation Cancellations within 72 hours of booking are eligible for a 100% refund, subject to food, grocery, or other service-specific purchases already made. After 72 hours, a 40% cancellation/loss-of-business fee applies to the service fee only. Food and grocery costs are separate. Same-day cancellations are subject to the full service fee. Groceries purchased on behalf of the client will be returned with receipts, and any applicable unused food/grocery balance will be refunded. Service Changes Changes to the date, time, menu, guest count, location, or scope are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. By booking, the client agrees to this policy and Southern Bells' applicable Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
