Cancellation Policy

Booking & Payment: Services must be booked and paid for online in advance. Your service is confirmed once payment is received and Southern Bells Personal & Private Chef Service LLC accepts the booking. Hourly Service: The hourly rate covers professional culinary labor and the services agreed upon at booking. Service time includes preparation, cooking, finishing, plating, buffet setup, and other approved culinary assistance. Additional time is subject to availability and the applicable hourly rate. Food & Groceries: Food, groceries, specialty ingredients, serving supplies, rentals, and other event expenses are separate unless specifically included in writing. Clients may provide their own food and ingredients. All client-provided food must be fresh, properly stored, and safe to use. Southern Bells may refuse food that appears spoiled, contaminated, improperly stored, or unsafe. Kitchen Requirements: Clients must provide a reasonably clean, safe, and functional kitchen with adequate workspace, equipment, cookware, utensils, and basic supplies needed for the requested service. Pets and animals must be kept away from food preparation and cooking areas. Service Scope: This service provides culinary assistance and is not automatically full-service catering. Grocery shopping, bartending, waitstaff, rentals, event staffing, and extensive cleanup are not included unless arranged in advance. Cancellations: Cancellations within 72 hours of booking may be eligible for cancellation without the standard 40% cancellation/loss-of-business fee, provided no non-refundable expenses or service-specific purchases have been incurred. After 72 hours, a 40% cancellation/loss-of-business fee may apply, plus any non-refundable expenses already incurred. Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding guest count, menu, food, kitchen conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, and requested services. Southern Bells reserves the right to decline or modify service when conditions are unsafe or materially different from what was provided at booking. By booking, the client acknowledges and agrees to these policies.
